One day at Grizedale Bar, Freya and Jess came up with the idea to create the society to build a network of filmmakers at Lancaster to provide more opportunities for students to make films. The first official meeting was on the 25th of February 2022, and the rest is history.

Apart from the six short films on showcase, there is one more film currently in post-production, and another four that will be produced this term.

We are currently not affiliated with the Student Union. We are working towards it, but the SU is quite slow with approving our request.
