Victim is a short horror film written and directed by Scarlett Gill.
It follows Emily (Hannah Moore), a young and vulnerable girl, who becomes stranded on a cold and wet night when her car breaks down. She is taken in by Joe (Alex Candlin), a kind stranger who just wants to help.
However, unbeknownst to one of them, the other is hiding who they really are.
Who will survive the night, and who will become the Victim?

I am Scarlett, director of Victim
My name is Scarlett Gill and Victim is my directorial debut. I am a student filmmaker studying for my final year at Lancaster University. Since three years old I have been obsessed with films and directing one left me with an eye-opening experience to the hardship that goes into filmmaking.
I absolutely loved working with my dedicated crew last summer to produce Victim. Despite the seemingly impossible time limit of two weeks my team stayed positive and persisted throughout the process including into preproduction where my devoted editor was editing our film on a flight back from Malaysia.
